Our Programs

CHANCE Afrika has 3 main programs. Each of the program areas has both current and planned activities, with new ideas in the making.

1) SOMA AFRIKA

This is Swahili for 'READ AFRICA' – The main activity under this program is our signature Education Scholarship Program promoting access to a quality education.

2) CHEZA AFRIKA

This is Swahili for 'PLAY AFRICA' - This has grown to be one of our most popular programs. We use Sports and sports-related activities to serve and to communicate our themes and direction. Sports is a great mobilizer that brings people together, we therefore design structured sports programs throughout the year reaching out to hundreds of kids.

3) JAMII AFRIKA

This is Swahili for 'FAMILY AFRICA', promoting Family Health. This program focuses on overall community development by looking into the health and wellness of the family. Family empowerment through education, business and apprentice training as well as access to micro-financing.

• This program seeks to empower one family at a time.
